Feedback
Reviews praise ASK Italian’s desserts, friendly staff and great location; common criticisms note slow service, noise and occasional order delays.
We received a voucher from my father of my fiancé, so decided to book ask last week. we sat down and then offered another table with a window. although she had cramped, she had a view so no big problems. the service was very slow, the restaurant was busy and we had no fast service expected. Although several tables, including a table of 8, had before us (although we had ordered before), we thought they had forgotten us. one of the waiters has apologised. the food was ok, we had the cheese fondu and pumpkin arachni to begin what was nice. we had both pizzas for the porn that was more bland and the desserts (chocolate gnocchi and honeycomb cake) were ok. overall I will probably ask a mistake for future bookings and try out other places in exeter.
Great location, good food. service a little slow, but does not play a role when they have good company!
The booking of open table had not been sent to the restaurant, but fortunately they have one for us. a part of the starter was not on the platine, but was brought on request. the personal is beautiful, but very busy and there was a big table next to us that was incredibly loud.
The restaurant is in a fantastic location and the food is delicious. The service may be a little slow, but it doesn't matter when you're enjoying the company of good friends!
The reservation made through OpenTable was not received by the restaurant, but they managed to accommodate us. One of the starters was missing from the platter, but it was brought out when we asked for it. The staff was friendly, but seemed overwhelmed with their workload and there was a loud group at a nearby table.
