The salad was small (it is always a struggle to order vegetarian options) not worth for the time price. The sangria was ridiculously pricey and far to be the best that I have. For me is a not to return unfortunately!

We had the head of the Alentejo pork with mussels, Secreto pork and the lamb with rosemary, with a side order of asparagus with mushrooms, all perfectly excellent. Dessert was a generous portion of chocolate cake that resembled more of a piece of tar to die again. All that plus 3 coffees, a beer and half a litre of house wine came to 55€. This mother and daughter run restaurant definitely deserves every success and I wish her well.

My husband who ordered bull steak medium and friend veal steak well done she mixed up this two orders and meat was not done as ordered. She forgot to bring salad. At the end salad was okay, but octopus was not tender, it was the worst meal and service we ate at whole roadtrip through Portugal!

All were boldly and beautifully prepared, which was a pleasant surprise in terms of Portuguese cookery. Yum!
