The dishes are regional a... read more A friend recommended us this restaurant in the small village of Azaruja near Evora, somewhat far off the established touring circuits. The dishes are regional and well made: we very much enjoyed an excellent Borrego and extraordinary bochechas de novilho, in generous quantities with a...bottle of red Reguengos wine. Bochechas de novilho are bigger than the bochechas de porco, but very tender and tasty. The most outstanding was, however, the Iberian cured ham served as starter. It was really magnificent, not too much salted with a very strong and smooth flavour. The desert was home-made and very nice. No surprise with the bill – some EUR for two. A very nice place with very kind people !

As a main i asked for the veal medalions, they are grilled and...come served with home fries. its not the cheapest option but its definetly worth the
