du Barrage - Evolene

I had a voucher for a meal in the restaurant (smartbox), so there were only two choices either fondue or rosti. we had tomato the rosti who had the local touch. it was very good, but when I had a big breakfast, I couldn't refine it. the staff was very friendly, and the place was ok, could be cozier. it is the only place to eat there, and the prices were not bad.

Stops for coffee before a tour through the staudamm after which we visit the lake. unfortunately we arrived too late for lunch and the court of the day advertised and were informed that due to a party in an adjoining room no hot food was available. has ordered drinks and crooks wrapped, but notices that the cookies were far beyond their best before date out the personal was not found very friendly. I'm sorry, but maybe it had something to do with the end of the tourist season.

Bien qu'il soit le seul restaurant dans les alentours du barrage de la Dixence, nous avons été agréablement surpris par la qualité de notre repas et ne pouvons que vous le conseillez.On trouve de tous (spécialité valaisanne, suisse et traditionnelle) et les assiettes sont bien garnies et a bon prix.Le personnel est très souriant et attentionné.De plus, nous vous conseillez de prendre un dessert maison délicieux (surtout la tarte au citron meringuée)N'hésitez pas a vous arrêter sur la grande terrasse après avoir pu admirer le barrage.

Arrêt quasi obligé pour les visiteurs du barrage, le restaurant est une halte bienvenue.La nourriture est correcte, de type cantine d'entreprise. On saluera toutefois une carte offrant des spécialités suisses et des vins du Valais.Le service est rapide, agréable et souriant.
