Decent selection of food, server brought our food then left us alone which is really nice, just have to ask for anything we need, since we are not socially inept people we managed, but some people do blame the server for not checking in on them every 4 minutes wanting to be serviced like VIPs. Some customers have very trashy behaviors. Service: Dine in View all feedback.
What Erin G doesn't like about Red 8:
The food has gone consistently downhill since last year when they reached fine food status. Take out is poorly prepared without hardly any flavor and the prices are outrageous. For beef fried rice...the tiny mince of meat are ridiculous and overpriced. I could have made a better stir fry at home. BAD FOOD!! BAD SERVICE!!! View all feedback.
This was our first visit to Red 8.. the beverages, food atmosphere and service were perfect! We will definitely visit again very soon! Dietary restrictions: were were asked several times about allergies..which doesn’t usually happen but is extremely important for many people. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner
We ate here 10/10/23. We had the shumai appetizer. They obviously don’t believe in serving dipping sauces which were desperately needed to compensate for the singular lack of flavor. We ordered the orange beef, shrimp fried rice and Peking duck. The huge tree trunk vegetables were mostly raw, with a greasy glaze. The rice was almost devoid of flavor, and no soy sauce readily available, although we were able to get some from a busboy who was removing some from another table. The orage beef was cooked to the point that it was almost hard. My wife was done eating her meal before the Peking duck was even served. Lame excuse from the server concerning time to cut it up. They should call it deep fried duck, because crisping the skin that way destroyed the flavor. If you care for good Chinese food, dine elsewhere
