Description
Perched on the waterfront, this popular seafood-focused restaurant delivers scenic views, polished service and a sprawling menu ideal for brunches, celebrations and private events. Standouts include Ahi tuna, poke and a warm blueberry coffee cake, though several fish dishes and a classic eggs Benedict can be underseasoned. Expect premium prices, weekend waits and cozy seating; reservations and bar seating are wise. Overall a reliably pleasant spot for groups, couples or special occasions seeking fresh seafood and memorable vistas.
Feedback
Excellent facility. The ambience is great as expected and servers are very attentive and knowledgeable. Views are great when sitting on the windows. Large selection of dishes on the menu, some Entrees can be appetizers (e.g. Deep fried ausyster) just ask your server. Food is excellent not to complain! Waiting for food was a little long given the fact that it was a vacation, but still relatively fast. Only complaint is that the space between stand and table seats is narrow! Hard to go when busy. Would give 4.5 stars if possible because despite the food great, their fish ducks need some work in the flavor department.
Our party consisted of 13 people, and everyone ordered their favorite brunch items. I opted for the traditional eggs Benedict and coffee, while others chose dishes like Anthony's Cobb Salad, San Juan Scramble, Homeport Breakfast Bowl, Wild Alaska salmon, and some drinks from the Brunch Happy Hour menu. Most dishes were priced around $15. One highlight was Anthony's Brunch, which includes their warm homemade blueberry coffee cake. I paired it with my coffee, and both were absolutely delicious. However, I found the traditional eggs Benedict to lack flavor, so I added salt and pepper to enhance it—though I would have preferred salt instead. Our server was incredibly nice and attentive to our needs, which added to the positive experience. I would definitely like to return for brunch again on a Sunday.
We visited this restaurant to celebrate my mother's birthday. It was a perfect summer night, enjoying the view by the water! Our table for eight was nicely separated from other seating areas, just a few steps above the lower section, so we never felt crowded. Everyone agreed that the dinner was excellent, and the desserts were delightful as well. While it is a bit pricier than some local options, you're not just paying for the view and ambiance; the food is great too. The surrounding area is beautiful for a stroll by the water. Highly recommended!
I highly recommend the Ahi Tuna and Lachs Poke appetizer, though I must mention that I was surprised to find the salmon poke cooked instead of raw, which led to it being quite dry. Unfortunately, the Ahi tuna also lacked flavor. Overall, the food here is rather mediocre, especially given the premium prices. However, the service is excellent—attentive and friendly, deserving of five stars. The ambiance is also fantastic.
We had a family get together last night at Anthony’s. Our server Michell D. was excellent, great recommendations and totally handled our group of 9 to perfection. All of our apps, meals and desserts were very good. Will definitely come back! Great experience all around. View was awesome also!
