Upon arriving, I was surprised to s... read more Let me begin by saying that we have dined here quite frequently. It is not one of my favorite places but my family loves it. Upon arriving, I was surprised to see an empty restaurant when we were told that the only reservations were for later that night. I was also surprised when the waitress told us that they were not serving tap water as it was not clean. She pushed hard to sell the bottled water at $7 per. When she served ice, I questioned her why she was serving it when it was the same tap water. She replied that their ice machine was full for several days and the water used for it was clean. WHAT!! We ordered and everything seemed fine until on my 2nd bite of food, I found a long hair in my dish. When I brought it to her attention, her first response was it is not mine. She did apologize, brought me over a menu and said she would have the kitchen make me a new dish. She never offered to take it off the bill, which I have found standard when this happens. The only reason I did not cause a scene is my family loves it there (I don’t know why) and will probably return. I will not.
