Their selection of craft beers is impressive as well. The cozy, hidden patio in the back provides a lovely ambiance. The staff was friendly and attentive throughout our visit. We’re already looking forward to returning to Union Squared soon!

It’s truly an authentic Detroit-style pizza, exactly what I was hoping for. The edges and corners are perfectly crispy, there's cheese all the way to the edges, and the sauce is served on top.

So funny to me that we found a Detroit style pizza joint on my kids' first trip to Chicago, but they don't like deep dish so we ended up here. Had tables for us at 8 pm on a Saturday and our food came out pretty quick. Single serving was enough for my teens to split, but they were still a bit hungry. Entire Greek pizza was too much by one slice for my wife and I too finish. There were plenty of microbrews to choose from too. Definitely check them out if you're in Evanston.
