The staff is expected to use customers' names when calling out for them to collect their pizzas, but one employee opted to shout out the pizza ingredients instead, which led to confusion and chaos. Additionally, he was in a noticeably bad mood, making it quite apparent to everyone around. To top it off, they somehow managed to misplace my friend's order, which I had already paid for.
I can't believe this is the pizza I paid for and waited an hour to receive. This is by far the worst experience I've had in a pizza place. Please see the photos.
The staff are supposed to call out customers' names when their pizzas are ready, but one employee used the pizza toppings instead, which led to confusion and chaos. He also seemed to be in a really bad mood and it was clearly noticeable. To make matters worse, they somehow lost my friend's order that I had paid for.
If you're not familiar with this chain it's the same setup as Blaze Pizza. You go in and you can either choose one of their signature pizzas or just build your own. It's pretty hard to mess up the pizza when you're the one putting the pizza together. All the workers need to do is just put it on top of the pizza and pop in the oven. The concept is great. It's a fast food pizza chain that allows you to choose fresh ingredients and sauces to build your own pizza. You can get as creative or as basic as you want. It's not just the basic toppings you'd see at any other pizza place. They have more higher quality ingredients like the roasted garlic, Gorgonzola cheese, pesto, or even the spicy honey to be drizzled on top when it's all done. They bake the pizza the same amount of time for each pizza and comes out super crispy and flaky. You can't go wrong with brick oven pizza. It definitely doesn't bake the same as your usual oven pizza. It's a nice alternative to just going to a pizza joint and having to deal with the table service. You're in and you're out.
The customer service here is decent. However, the pizza was quite dry, and they were out of several key ingredients. The staff member mentioned that they often run out of items like pepperoni and gluten-free dough by the weekend. If the manager is aware of this issue, they should ensure that they order enough supplies. This seems to be a recurring problem. On the positive side, the ambiance is pleasant.
