We will not be going back. They say they serve healthy food. Yet they cook with bad oils. I got a Buddha bowl (they did not have the Brussel sprout salad) and it was awful. Carrots did not look fresh. Looks like maybe they came from frozen. They subbedin spinach for I believe what was supposed to be kale, the falafel was overdone e almost black. The waitress got mad when Iasked what oils they cooked with. And on top of that it is way overpriced. $67 for 3 people and that is without the tip andjust 3 breakfasts and coffee. So overpriced and very underwhelming!
I stopped by for brunch and had a nice time, although there are a few things I think they could work on. Cons: -crab cakes were not very fresh and had a fishy taste as well as being over seasoned. -The hollandaise sauce was broken. -The table wasovercrowded with items and not quite large enough for our two entrees and drinks. -Had to request a new silverware roll up asone had a dirty fork. Pros: -Staff are very friendly and prompt. -Chicken and waffles have a very crisp breading and a goodportion size for the price. -Poached eggs were perfectly cooked. I’d try it again soon, I think I’d just avoid the crabcakes.
Everything was great, loved the vegan BLT. So many vegan and gluten free options. Loved the earl grey tea!! Great spot for breakfast, brunch or lunch. Would be a great option to visit with friends as well. Light, healthy and delicious food.
The food was okay. It seemed like I could probably execute the dish better if I bought all of the ingredients and made it myself. I had the vegan chicken sandwich, which was basically a Lightlife chicken alternative, w/ lettuce tomato, avocado, andsauce on a store bought bread. Same goes for the vegan BLT that my wife had. The seasoned fries were very good. The seasoningwas slightly unconventional, which I liked. My omnivore father-in-law said his chicken bowl was decent. The service can beimproved upon as well. My wife and in law got their food pretty quickly, but after they were halfway through their meal, thewaitress noticed that I'm without mine, and mentioned that she forgot to put my order on the ticket, so I only got my meal afterboth people in my party had already finished theirs. She comp us for my meal at least, so we left with a somewhat positiveexperience.
I went to Mid Kitchen a few days ago for a family meal and was pleasantly surprised by their menu having a wide range of vegetarian and vegan options. To start off with, they check your vaccination status which is greatly appreciated as this placeis clearly popular and was the perfect amount of busy for a nice atmosphere. The tables where clean and the staff was extremelypolite and helpful. They where able to make their Green Superfood Omelet with tofu and I already can't wait to go back and trymore vegan items on the menu. It's the perfect spot to catch up with friends, study while drinking a tea, or simply people watchwith some great food.
