One of our favorite spots in Evanston, but sadly, the recent visit shows decline in the quality of food. It wasn't even a busy day. I am an Evanstonian who has been going to Buffalo Joe's for over 30 years. I moved to Chicago so don't get to go as often, so I made a special trip this afternoon. I am deeply disappointed in my wings that are so over cooked the bones are crumbling, they barely have any buffalo sauce on them and are super dry I ordered a Double Order of wings and they only gave me one (half full) mini cup of ranch. They have totally fallen off and I wouldn't recommend anyone waste their money. Really sad because it used to be my favorite.
Food was delicious but the price is not what it used to be, sadly.
The best wings you’ll ever eat, I drive here for almost 1 hour each month that is how good the wings are. Definitely recommend!
