Happy hour was quite generous with the food. And very nice drinks. Got the scallops dinner. Fresh and delish. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
Very inconsistent sometimes very good and other times, unfortunately more than not mediocre to bad even the cocktails that used to be so good have been weak and not matching the price point after tonight’s Chefs tasting menu, I may never go again one dish was actually inedible the scallops were actually repulsive the other dishes were mediocre at best this place would be out of business if it were in Portland or anywhere where there is good food they are lucky to be in Eugene where the restaurants in general are pretty bad
We've been coming to Eugene for over 30 years to visit my parents. This dining experience was, by far, the best we've ever had in Eugene. Started with oysters and bread, both excellent. We then shared the Little Gem salad, with pistachio crumble and a decadent lemon dressing. My wife had the seared scallops, which were amazing but came out only luke warm. I had the Knee Deep Filet minion with caramelized onions and potatoes, the filet was cooked and seared to perfection. We finished with the flourless chocolate cake, topped with delicious raspberry puree. We will be back! Price per person: $50–100 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Everything at Purlieu is exceptional. The vibrant, energetic atmosphere creates the perfect setting. There are countless delightful aspects to appreciate. The food is flavorful with ample portions, the cocktails are skillfully made, and the desserts are truly outstanding. I’m completely smitten with this spot and couldn’t be more pleased with my visit. The service was warm, inviting, and personable. Thank you for renewing my faith in excellence!
I visited Purlieu for the first time and it truly surpassed my expectations! The atmosphere was warm and inviting. Our server, Madeline, was exceptional—friendly and attentive throughout. The cocktails were skillfully made and absolutely delicious. My mom and I shared a variety of dishes, including pork belly skewers, escargot, beet salad, oysters, a mushroom tart, scallops, and finished with an olive oil cake. Every dish was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. We loved the experience of sharing our meals and can’t wait to return with more friends next time!
