The service was extremely slow, with the waiter taking forever to take our order. We ordered two slices - I chose the classic white which was too dry to swallow and had very little cheese, while my husband ordered the pepperoni which was good. Despite living only two blocks away, I will not be returning as I have found the delivery drivers to be consistently rude. I will no longer be ordering from this restaurant.
The pizza at this restaurant is amazing. I ordered the Bartolotti and the Friendly Street, both cooked well done. The crust was perfectly crispy and airy, and the quality of the ingredients was top-notch. While this pizza style is different from The Wheel, it is tied in terms of taste and quality. Highly recommend!
My experience as a delivery driver picking up orders from this restaurant has been extremely poor. The staff is frequently rude to drivers simply doing their job, they do not start orders on time, do not provide information on when orders will be ready, cancel orders, or refuse to make them altogether. It seems they are not equipped to handle the high demand for delivery or operate efficiently in a small kitchen. It is baffling why they would partner with Grubhub if they harbor such animosity towards drivers. Although I have enjoyed their pizza in the past, the cramped and chaotic setting with other food trucks can be overwhelming. There are other pizza establishments that offer better experiences. This review is specific to the location on Friendly Street and reflects the sentiments of other drivers I have spoken to, which can have a negative impact on the overall delivery customer experience.
I came here and ordered 2 large pizzas. (30$ each! kind of expensive imo) but this place has the best pies I've ever had. I was greeted by a young gentleman I think his name was Rocky. The atmosphere was comfortable and my food was ready fast. Rocky wasunderstanding about my complaints on the price of the large pizzas and gave me a free soda.
Have not been disappointed here yet! My son loves being able to just get a slice here. We love that it is in a great food truck location with other options and a beer truck as well. Their Stromboli is a great size and full of flavourful ingredients. Solidpizza choice if you're in the Friendly area!
