Good quick pizza stop when downtown. Grabbed an ace of spades slice of pizza and appreciate that they heat it up for you. I was offered a water cup as well. Made it a nice quick stop. Options for pizza are what they have on display for you at the moment. Almost $5 a slice is steep but it's an experience too I suppose coming in here. Good and filling large slice.
The restaurant should drop the pretentious attitude when taking phone orders. It's confusing when the pizzas have fancy names that don't indicate the toppings. The New York thin crust style pizza is crispy and delicious.
I had the cheese basil tomato special of the day. I think they called it Cheese is Life. It was so good. The Rabbits side salad was even better. Everything was fresh and service was excellent. We got there right as they opened at 11 and we did have to wait a couple minutes. They apologized profusely but we honestly were not upset at all. My bf had Sargent Pepper which was another special of the day with sausage. He liked it but wished it had more garlic like mine lol. He had a different salad than me and really liked that a lot. We will be back next time we visit Eugene.
I absolutely adore Sizzle Pie! It is hands down the best place to grab a delicious slice of pizza. I appreciate the variety of vegetarian and vegan options available, and highly recommend trying the vegan ranch dressing. My personal favorite is the Gold Ring pizza. The atmosphere inside is fantastic and the service is always outstanding and efficient. Whenever I am in the area, I make it a point to stop by this place. The bar is also great, offering affordable and tasty drinks. I love the beer and slice specials they have on certain days. The salads are a great value as well, generous in portion size and filled with delicious ingredients. Don't forget to swing by their pizza window for a quick slice on the go. I simply love this place!
So the pizzas are definitely 3.5 to 4 stars. What bugged me was the absent-mindedness of the person taking our order. She confused everything, and ultimately left us with several slices of pizza rather than the cuts we had ordered. I ordered the veggie pizza with jalapenos and pineapple (not the most descriptive but it's the top one on the 2nd column) and the sausage one. My friend, who is vegetarian, ordered the same veggie one and the 2nd one from the 2nd column of pizzas. I ended up with an extra slice of a meat pizza that was covered with cheese. The taste is great and the crust is not too bad. But maybe improve the customer service.
