You only have one time to make a first impression and RISTORANTE FARFALLA blew it! E-X-T-R-E-M-E-L-Y overcrowded dining area with tables no more than inches apart. So crowded and so loud my wife and I could not have a conversation. Then our server,Michael, was very late coming to greet us, never told us about specials (but he did later for other tables around us), deliveredour appetizer 30 minutes after we ordered it and then rushed our entrees soon thereafter. My wife ordered the salmon well doneand it came nearly raw and needed to be sent back. My pasta was very much under-cooked as well! Obviously the kitchen doesn 'tknow how to cook properly. Then the prices were high but surprisingly the food had decent flavor. But with everything elsethey ruined on our first impression, there won 't be a second chance. I think you can do better at another fine dining ItalianRestaurant.
Been here for a month looking for a good Italian restaurant to go to. Went here for dinner today I must say the food and service were both fantastic! Jenn our server was so polite and friendly! Looks like we found our go to restaurant! Can’t wait to goback next Thursday!
I will begin by stating that I gave one star because it’s as low as I could go. We went as a family during the coldest night in Florida in years and my father in law was told to remove his hat while seated. This place is far from a fine diningrestaurant and we have gone to many and never experienced anything like it. Perhaps the chef prepares everything low in salt andgrease but everything we ordered was tasteless. The risotto was the worst ever and had no cheese. The oldest person thatwelcomes you had a very bad attitude and kept interrupting us while eating and it felt as if they were watching everything wewere doing. The prices are high for what they offer and the quality of food is very poor. To resume, if you are used to godining to high end places, don’t waste your time and money there, I’m sure there are many other options and even fast foodplaces would be a better choice.
I'm a foodie! My first time there, and I love Italian, and what a great disappointment!..I ordered the Special, Grouper w/ scalloped potatoes, Veg. $42.00, and I was shocked ! I'll spare the details, I told the waiter how terrible it was..They werekind enough to take it off our bill..No, I wont ever be back there again..
We had a fantastic meal here last night! The food was incredible and prepared to perfection. The staff was courteous, professional and kind. The owner greeted our table and it was a delight to talk with him about his passion for Italian cuisine,the different regions in Italy, and his love for the community here in Estero. We will definitely be back again. I highlyrecommend Ristorante Farfalla for the delicious Italian food and the charming dining experience!

A special thanks to the chef! We adore this restaurant, and I had the chance to share it with some business associates visiting the area. They were impressed! The food was exceptional, the service was fantastic, and it provided a wonderful conclusion to our meeting.
We have discovered that some of the best Italian restaurants are situated in strip malls or other common shopping complexes. Ristorante Farfalla falls into this category. As part of a large popular grocery store complex, you might not expect an Italian eatery to be very good. But Ristorante Farfalla is excellent. The chef/owner is great and his menu reflects a strong Mediterranean influence; this is not American Italian. I 'm not a wine expert but their wine selection seems very well suited to their cuisine. We highly recommend you give this hidden gem a try.
The food was outstanding. My wife ordered the spinach salad, and I enjoyed some warm, delicious free bread. For our main courses, we had chicken Francese and the special butternut ravioli. My wife remarked that it was the best butternut ravioli she had ever tasted, and I found my chicken to be excellent as well. They also had an impressive wine list featuring all of our favorites. Although we hadn't visited this year until now, we will definitely return at least once a month since we live nearby.

Excellent food, truly exceptional! The server was attentive and friendly, though the food took a bit longer than expected to arrive—giving us the perfect excuse to enjoy a second bottle of wine. Don’t come here if you’re in a rush. The ambiance feels a bit plain since the restaurant is located in a strip mall with large windows overlooking the parking lot. Adding some sheer curtains or plants could make the atmosphere cozier. Definitely planning to return!

Our jubilee dinner in farfalla was wonderful: tasteful eating (with great sauces and spices,) attentive service, refined decor and great worth. the sea bass and the linguini bygole were prepared professionally and the pavement of the evening meal was impeccable. this was our first time to eat here, but we will be back when the devastating after a tasteful, hostile experience presents itself.
We couldn't be more pleased with the quality of the service and the food. It was simply outstanding!
This was our second visit to the restaurant. Bill was an excellent waiter. Our meal was enjoyable, but I would rate it a 5 if the sea bass hadn't been cut so thin.

Pasta dishes rather bland with small portions for the price. Mozzarella cheese on caprese salad was ice cold, dry and tough. Quality should be better for price charged. Service started well but ended very poorly. Took a long time to get plates cleared and check paid. Management is nice and attentive. Could have just been an off night….
