Description
Nestled near the iconic French King Bridge, the French King Restaurant has gained a reputation for its hearty breakfast and lunch offerings. While many guests rave about the delicious meals and generous portions, long wait times have been a consistent grievance, with some waiting nearly two hours for their food, particularly during busy periods. Went to the hotel for 2 days and the room was disgusting. there was crumbs and random trash left behind under both beds and a medication bottle left under the nightstand. the mini fridge was also dirty and froze our food. to top it off, our door didn?tlock and when we told the front desk person he said ?we?re all family here.? also there was no hand soap in the room. if youneed something for the room there is never anyone in the office. not worth the $317 i spent for 2 nights.
The owner wasn't very friendly. Both times I've rented rooms he rudely asks why and tells me they don't allow partying or smoking... even after I said I wasn't partying n knew what the smoking rules were he felt a need to repeat it. He def made mefeel unwelcomed. It took him about 15 minutes to find the key for the correct room after trying the first room and not knowingwhere that key was
Food drinks: Great chef, food is excellent! Service: 5 Location: 5 Hotel highlights: Great view, Quiet
When we arrived, the room was freezing cold, and it took hours for it to warm up. Additionally, unloading our things was a hassle because we had to park on the grass due to a large curb surrounding the motel. Overall, it was quite disappointing given the appealing location and natural surroundings. The term "rustic" doesn't adequately describe the level of disrepair; it was evident that the place hasn't seen maintenance in many years. Rooms: Not accessible. There’s no microwave, and the electrical setup is questionable. This place might work for a quick stay if you are fully mobile. Important note: Do not trust the claims of accessibility; it's simply not true.
