What User doesn't like about French King And:
The owner was unfriendly. I reserved both rooms and he rudely asked why. He then informed me that parties and smoking were not allowed. Despite my assurance that I wasn't having a party and that I understood the no-smoking policy, he felt the need to repeat himself. His attitude made me uncomfortable. It took about 15 minutes to find the key for the correct room after a failed attempt at the first room, and the owner... View all feedback.
It's been years since I visited this restaurant motel, but I have no complaints! Restaurant was lovely, great service excellent food. Frank (owner back in the early 2000's) was a comical, friendly guy. Cozy atmosphere. Motel was well maintained comfortable. Didn't get to try the pool, because it was Fall when we visited. Plenty of parking. Easy to locate, near the scenic French King bridge.
I have been to this restaurant twice now the food is fine the wait times are atrocious first time going I waited about 40 minutes for breakfast the second time I waited 40 minutes again for only a burger and a wrap during a slow time during the day, I'm done going here and if unless you have a few hours to spare I suggest finding another breakfast/lunch spot
Great food at a reasonable price. It was quiet and relaxed for dinner with our friends.
Had a great breakfast and the guys I was with said the same
I am happy that I finally went here. The interior is amazing with the great chairs and large tables. The food was delicious. I went on a Friday near noon and they only had 1 waitress but she was amazing dealing with all the patrons at that time. Parking is perfectly acceptable and you can get a quick look at the French king bridge. The only issue I had there was prior to arriving a large party came in immediately before so the food didn't come out as fast. I am looking forward to going back soon.
