What Frankiieshungrytummy likes about Cafe Sofia:
Food and coffee here is pretty good and the service is good too.Only bad thing with this place is that it doesn't have eftpos so you have to make sure you have money!Right next to Erskineville station so it's super easy to get to.Nice little place to have some morning tea or catch ups. I'd like to say it was great experience as it has all the makings to be. Tables outside in the sun, great coffee was just let down by the lunch food.. Toastie sandwich was mediocre toppings just scattered would have expected the open sandwich to have oozing melted not sliced camembert placed on top.Stick to the all day breakfast menu instead cant go wrong. read moreCafe Sofia offers a mixed experience according to recent reviews. The restaurant boasts a picturesque sea view and a cozy atmosphere, with locals frequenting the establishment, but some have noted issues with the food quality, specifically mentioning overcooked eggs and mediocre dishes. On the positive side, the cafe is praised for its great coffee, lovely service, and delicious Turkish toasties. Despite some inconsistencies and occasional rude staff behavior, Cafe Sofia maintains a loyal customer base and continues to draw patrons looking for a pleasant neighborhood cafe experience.
