Arguably the best coffee shop north of Denver. Coffee is superb, expertly crafted. The atmosphere is lovely, lots of space to work, catch up with an old friend, or sit outside and enjoy the mountains. Food is also excellent! I make the drive fromThornton and enjoy every trip. Its busy enough and has enough background noise that I am able to find focus and good coffee toconquer work projects. View all feedback.
What Steven Carroll doesn't like about Cristos Coffee Boutique Roastery Cafe:
We had high expectations based on the reviews, but unfortunately our experience was not as good as we had hoped. The pros were the great location and atmosphere, and the fact that the restaurant was busy, which is always a good sign for a locally owned business. However, the staff was not very welcoming. My coffee sat on top of the espresso machine for a while before it was finally made. The foam had large air bubble... View all feedback.
Typically won't write reviews about coffee but the experience made it feel necessary. I just started working down the street in old town Erie. At 2:30pm on a Sunday I drove by a different coffee shop that looked closed and decided to give Cristos a shot.Walked in, both workers are sitting at the register engaged in a conversation. The girl who took my order was friendly ish, just kind of asked what I wanted then let the terminal do the rest. I ordered a dry cappuccino. The other worker looked like I had slighted her in some way, scowl on the face type vibes. My drink was ready quickly,to which the girl who made it said Heres your cap' and walked off. I'm a loud person, and audibly said thank you. Neither girl even looked my way or acknowledged it. I go to add some fixings (just cinnamon) it's mostly steamed milk with a small layer of foam. I did say Dry cappuccino, but the girl who made it was no longer in eye sight so I figured what's the point they clearly aren't having a great day.Look I WANT to support local businesses. Interactions like this make consumers ask the question why shop here? Starbucks sucks but at least it's consistent. Make it make sense, I'm not asking you to blow rainbows and candy canes in my direction but a cursory no problem or you're welcome' wouldn't kill anyone.
LOVE Cristos!! I love their new owners and everything they have brought to the table! The products (especially the boba and chai baristas, and all around atmosphere is so so good. You can tell they are really trying to immerse into Erie and are staying creative. They're always coming up with something new and fun to the menu each month. Plus, the new branding is on point too. I'm so here for this era of Cristos!
Best coffee in Erie! And kind people and a comfortable atmosphere to boot. We’re repeat customers and enjoy bringing out-of-town friends and family here, too. Highly recommend!
Love cristos! They have a great selection of drinks and dips. my favorites are their latte and chai. Their muffins are also really good! great place to grab and go, to catch with friends, and business meetings.
I love absolutely everything about Cristos! Obviously the coffee and their selections are amazing but the customer service they provide is next level. Thankful that we have such a great place in our community.
