The food wa... read more Given the marketing on the website, I was expecting excellent things. The menu also was very appealing. Sadly the dishes fell far short of the hype. The food was average and there are much better Indian restaurants in the Sutton Epsom area. The service on a Saturday evening was also sadly poor and chaotic. Long waits for food and no cutlery once the dishes arrived. The tables are also crammed together, leaving little room for a relaxed meal.

The menu offered a diverse range of flavorful dishes, each prepared with authentic spices. The service was prompt, and the prices were reasonable for the quality of food. Overall, a delightful culinary journey that left me eager to return.

However, when booking through OpenTable for 2pm, we were not informed that the restaurant closed at 2:30. We found out upon arriving after an hour's journey to Le Raj. Despite this, the staff at Le Raj kindly allowed us to enjoy a 2-course meal without rushing, which was delicious! The food was exceptional and the service was attentive, but the experience was marred by misinformation from OpenTable. I will be returning for dinner soon and will be booking directly with the restaurant instead of through this platform.
