Was Anonym at Epping Thai a mag?
Had dinner recently, the food is generally authentic in taste and presentation. We had Thai prawn salad, curry chicken and soft shelled crab.On another night whole grilled fish and green papaya salad. The wine is over priced for what it is eg, Lindermans bin 66 Chardonnay sold there for $24, you can by it for $10 at most wine shops. bring your own and pay the byo .Good service, friendly . Despite the changes in staff, the food is still as good, if not better, than before. I left feeling satisfied with what I had eaten. The restaurant itself still feels a bit outdated and in need of a renovation. While it may not be the first choice for a meal out, it is a comfortable spot for our team to unwind after work. Due to COVID-19, the restaurant has rearranged its furniture to allow for social distancing, but they have done the bare minimum to ensure safety. They are following government guidelines, but could do more to enhance safety measures.

From the moment we walked in, we knew this restaurant would not disappoint. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming. Even though there were only a few other tables occupied when we arrived, the attention to detail in the table set up was impressive. As someone from a hospitality background, I appreciate the finer details – the placemats, cutlery, napkins, and water glasses were all perfectly arranged. The table was situated near beautiful floor-to-ceiling windows, allowing us to watch the local traffic go by. The service was fantastic, with our waitress individually pouring water into each glass and plating our rice for us. It felt like dining at a Michelin Star Restaurant. I chose the Green Curry and it was amazing – a perfect balance of coconut milk and Thai spices. Highly recommended for vegans. All of the other guests were also pleased with their dishes. The portion sizes were generous and reasonably priced. Kudos to the entire team at Epping Thai, including the front of house staff and chefs. A true local gem – I hope it never closes!

Always great eating fresh and tasteful. large menu choices for reasonable price, one of the few decent restaurants in epping. excellent service. I've been here for years.

Booked for a group of 9 around 18 clock on a Friday evening. restaurant is nice, service not so great. it took a long time to order drinks and then be delivered. the meal took so long to arrive. someone ordered suppe, others had escaped but no escapes. sent until the one person with suppe had completely finished. almost an hour before we had our mini spring rolls that disappeared in ravenous teemies. then the mains lasted 40 minutes to arrive. all have starved at that time. the food was delicious - between us we had many different dishes - all were delicious and very good. it only took so long to come! the prices were average- we paid $263 for 9 people, including something wein. restaurant has a roaring uber eats / pickup service- I wondered if this causes delays in our service. had to stand up and find staff to get water for table. do not look around and check. an almost complete restaurant and I saw two serving ladies. need more personal at working weekends. not sure that I return because the service is better elsewhere! our meal lasted almost 3 hours to finish due to long waiting times! oh and given Covid regulations currently at place and location - no contact data were collected, no QR scan possibilities... tables were spaced and some (not all) workers wore masks but under their nases! can not share bills that is disappointing when in a large group.

3 roti brote lasted an hour to relieve itself from location. the restaurant was called and I didn't care how to pick it up. the work informed me that eating was 20 minutes on the bank. it didn't matter that eating was cold and wouldn't hold. any responsibility she asks for. was asked why I didn't pick it up, I shouldn't have to justify myself, but recommended that I have a child that slept. no good way to protect her brand!
