The wine is a... read more This is a lovely looking pub, with views across the countryside and walks available. The meals consistently very good whenever we have been there. The wine is also good and the beer, including a local brew, well looked after. Service is always good. The monthly quiz is always entertaining and not taken too seriously my most teams. We shall be back!

Th... read more This is a cosy, traditional pub with friendly staff. The prices are a little higher than regular pubs but this is because it is not your standard “pub grub”. The portions are large and absolutely delicious. There were plenty of Sunday roast choices which looked incredible. I fancied something a little different and tried so tried the vegetarian tofu curry. It was bursting with flavour and packed full of interesting ingredients. We had a wonderful family lunch and the place was busy but didn’t feel chaotic or stressful as some pubs can on Sunday lunch times. Definitely worth a visit for a cosy atmosphere and delicious food.
