My wife and I have visited the Axe on several occasions. We have never been disappointed, the food and the service has always been first class.
We visited here quite a few times now. We randomly come across this on google. It’s a lovely little pub and the food is amazing. We didn’t book and was welcomed in and found us a table straight away and this was on a Saturday. I would recommend to book though. Especially if u are going for Sunday lunch.
We enjoyed our pub lunch at the Axe between Christmas and New Year. The staff were friendly and the food perfect after a long walk.
We had a wonderful family meal at this restaurant. The food was excellent and the staff were all very friendly. They were helpful and great with the kids. The atmosphere inside was cozy and inviting, making it a great place to enjoy a meal or have a few drinks. I would definitely recommend this place and will be coming back soon.
This is a lovely looking pub, with views across the countryside and walks available. The meals consistently very good whenever we have been there. The wine is also good and the beer, including a local brew, well looked after. Service is always good. The monthly quiz is always entertaining and not taken too seriously my most teams. We shall be back!
