Under the guidance of owners Amanda and Jahdre they have still manage to produce amazing food with friendly and professional service. Our latest visit was Saturday lunchtime where on arrival we received a lovely welcome from Amanda before she escorted us to our customary table 10. We were given a voucher as a gift and had not previously dined at Haywards. We enjoyed the fixed lunch menu and the presentation from Adam representing Essex Spirits. However, we would have preferred a wine tasting experience as we rarely drink spirits.

They had tried a new restaurant at a fancy London hotel before coming to Haywards and were not impressed. However, they found Haywards to be much better and were very impressed. We all loved the creative and tasty food, as well as the top-notch service provided by the lovely front of house team. The relaxed atmosphere made it a fantastic day. Thank you, Haywards!
