Nara Japanese Seafood Restaurant

This place is not ideal for budget customers. The restaurant looked good when I came in. The restaurant is spacious with private rooms! good impression! However, I came here at 18:10 and put order for food at 18:15. It happens an hour mark now at 7:15 and not to find food on my table. What's going on? I have seen servers constantly bring dishes to the rooms not to the tables. 20 minutes later they gave us a small salad dish and expected us to wait longer for the dishes we ordered. We have always asked when the food comes, and one of the waiters answered that it will come very soon.... but still don't come by after 15 minutes... I expressed concerns to the waitress and she explained that her first service priority is to serve the room customers and table customers the second, as they make more money from the room customers than customers from the tables. What a nonsense! I will never come to this place where the owner discriminates customers based on how much money spent!!! That's ridiculous! It's never heard! The owner is too greedy and there is no consideration for poor customers. The food comes one at a time about 20 minutes interval....

Hdn wasn't here long and visited this place for dinner in the other night. Had the usual fried oysters who were terrible! These were deep fried and hard from the outside, with hardly oysters to taste on the inside. Very disappointed. The other duck we had was okay. We decided not to ask for nets and found another place to go. The service was good parking seems to be more difficult to find in Epping on a weekend night. We had to remove a few blocks.

Never try to dine in Nara restaurant. Bad tasting and very poor service. I had my dinner with my family and it was the worst Japanese food I had in my life. My reasons: Bad customer service: Very disorganizing staff, we were served salad... without crumbs and you need to ask. I think they expect you to eat with your hands. They also have 3 waiting staff, 2 in the sushi counter and a few more people in the kitchen. Confidential waiting staff and has no routine in serving customers. Waiting staff didn't check us if the food is good or not. I believe they know that the service is already at an acceptable level. Waiting period: Long....waiting... For a simple 3 Dotunburis, which is basically rice and tempura, we waited 30-40 minutes. You don't have customers really. Like 5 small tables. Not a casual Japanese restaurant: The owners do not practice Japanese culture or service at all. No regards, no diffraction, not respectful. Get your meal and get out of here. Near a prison canteen practice already. Rowdy Place: There's a group of drunk old men screaming over the restaurant. So people move from one table to another. The restaurant serves of course Soju and especially korean in practice as per owner. So, no child or family-friendly restaurant at all. Untidy: We have gedminated in the restaurant for good 50 minutes and dirty dishes are still sitting in tatami rooms. Filty, how to imagine. The staff does not wipe the tables with a cleaning agent and only uses cloths that were used 100 times, I think. Really careless. I wonder how the Ministry of Health and Food Safety approved this restaurant to work. Tables sticky, floor unkempt. Prepare for the smell after her food: When I came out of the restaurant, I could smell with her food, but I didn't order sizzling or I had a smokey dish. I didn't sit near the kitchen or had a Korean bbq. I think they have insulation problems. Poor food quality: Tempura does not crispy, soft and drowned with sweet sauce with overflowing rice. Shrimp not fresh. Salad as a duck not even mouth irrigation looks like vegs and salad cut yesterday and held in the refrigerator. Not fresh. The salad dressing is just a touch, not enough to feel it a good salad. Miso soup cold like ice cream. Not even heated to a microwave. California roll: Salty!!! I could die with kidney disease after eating the California Roll. No Posted Reciept: I don't know how a customer could validate the calculation if they don't offer punctuated receipt. I wonder if they're paying the tax right as a business? Food price: For poor service and lack of high-quality meals. It's expensive or should I say overestimated. Fish and chips from a wood chicken business will be a good alternative. Overall, this facility should be closed as soon as possible. Service and food are not even close by with Japanese standards. I am extremely disregarded with Nara and would encourage everyone to read this review to avoid this place at all costs. This place has not earned a star since the only thing they have done right served a glass of cold water

Great food and atmosphere. Suntory beer on tap. Probably the best Japanese beer. Reasonably priced. Friendly service. You could be in Japan
