We went to dinner Tuesday night, I wanted to try Griffin and Wells for about a year, but never seemed to be there! We've disappeared since last year. Actually, I don't think I had such an amazing meal in a long time. Our service was so friendly and very helpful with the menu, I chose the special of the baked cod with a champagne cream sauce, potatoes and carrots! AMAZING. It should be permanent on the menu it was so... View all feedback.
What Judith B doesn't like about Griffin Wells Cafe':
We took some from friends from out of town to an early dinner. We were the first customers. Ordered the Brussel sprouts, they were burnt back. The risotto was mush with so few mushrooms that you could count them on one hand. The salmon was way under done. But the bill was very big. Won't be eating there again. Have tried them three times... and the food just isn't worth the price. View all feedback.

I am absolutely in love with this place, from a fast lunch to a special occasion, Amy and her staff provide a delicious, creative, perfectly prepared food. Beautiful, charming ambience, place in service with all these special little touches you forget that you do not eat at home in your best friend (and your best friend makes KILLER buttermilk ice) my only complaint would be that everything is so good that I vent a hard time in new decisions I just can't ever let go of the last meal I had!
I had the most exquisite dish at Griffin Wells Cafe last night! The waitress asked me what I wanted to command, and I answered, Amy simply made me do what she wants to do for me tonight. Amy cooked me a dish that would cost a lot more than $75.00 in Seattle! It was slices of Duck with a cherry sauce over potatoes with scallops on the side along with Brussels sprouts as a supplement. It was fabulous in presentation and taste! Well done Griffin Wells and thanks Amy!
The bacon wrapped dates and filled mushrooms were delicious from this world and we highly recommend you! Buttermilk ice cream was heaven.
We went to Griffin and Wells with our friends for dinner. None of us had been there before. We all were very pleasantly surprised with our meals. I had the Roast chicken in a creamy mushroom and tarragon sauce, red smashed potatoes and roast carrots. Seasoning was perfect and served piping hot a total must! . I also recommend their Carrot Cake that is not too sweet and has a great natural texture to it. We will be back!
