Terrace - Enniskerry
Terrace
Description
Perched beside Powerscourt Gardens, this bustling terrace café serves fresh, locally sourced fare with a signature ‘main plus three salads’ approach, generous vegetarian options and tempting cakes. Diners praise comforting soups, inventive salads and warm quiche, all enjoyed indoors or on a scenic terrace. Expect friendly staff, self‑service lines (the far line often offers better choices), rotating menus and tourist‑level prices; allow time for queues, beware of wasps outdoors and limited mobile reception despite free Wi‑Fi.

The main dishes come with three salads as sides, which is quite generous. I recommend sharing!
One of my favorite activities is exploring the cafés located within castles or estates in the UK and Europe. I have always been impressed by the quality of the food I've encountered.
Powerscourt Terrace is a charming cafe located in the heart of Enniskerry. I wanted to highlight a few points for those who may not be familiar with the area...
The Terrace Cafe provided a much-appreciated break after my wife and I finished our windy and rainy stroll through the gardens. They offered a great variety of...
I honestly had a tough time choosing my lunch because I wanted to try all the cakes! In the end, I had to skip dessert and opted for the Ham Stuffed Potato instead. Let me tell you, the Irish know how to prepare a potato! Mine was filled with local ham and Irish cheese, and it was absolutely delicious. Every lunch item comes with a choice of three salads, and my favorite was the chickpea salad. Whatever salads you choose, you can’t go wrong—they're made with locally sourced ingredients, ensuring incredible flavors. I only wish I had more room for dessert! Powerscourt Terrace Café is a lovely place to either start or end your day at Powerscourt, serving delicious food made with local produce. Make sure to save space for dessert!
