Go to the second line! There are two self-service lines here, and the line further from the entrance has much better food than you would normally expect in a self-service restaurant. The terrace is beautiful in beautiful weather, and the view is simply wonderful. Make sure to allow at least one hour to explore the fantastic gardens. View all feedback.
One thing I like to do is to check the café in a castle or an estate in the UK/Europe. I was never disappointed with the quality of food served. Powerscourt Terrace Café has maintained my love for castle and estate cafés. Yummm... This café is a tray and seats You yourself type of place, but I have nothing special with the beautiful bites for lunch that were served. It is not a packed sandwich and a Krisps lunch line, but a tastefully decorated café with heart-warming comfort. I honestly couldn't decide what I wanted for lunch because I wanted to try the cakes, all of them! I had to pass the desserts and went to Ham Stuffed Potato. I'll tell you that the Irish really know how to make a potato! My potato was filled with local ham and Irish cheese, oh gawd... so good! Whatever lunch you choose it comes with three salads of your choice. My favorite was the cursed chickpea, but whatever salads you choose, you will love. All that this is locally cultivated so you know the flavors are top! I wish I had enough room for Dessert. It is really a nice café to either start or finish your day in the Powerscourt. Delicious food with local products. Hold space for Dessert!
The terrace café was a welcome attraction from the windy and rainy walk around the gardens my wife and I had just finished. They had a pretty selection of delicious food options to choose from. My wife chose a quiche that came with three pages that she kindly shared with me. I chose a bowl of tomato soup with cheese bread. Both dishes were warm and delicious. We enjoyed our pages of Asian salad, fresh fruit and Greek salad with this our favorite. The combination of broccoli, feta cheese and dressing was addicted. My tomato soup was the best also full of taste and very warming. The cheese bread was practical to suck the remaining soup that escaped my spoon. The people working there were very friendly and helpful. The dining area had many rooms and tables were quickly moved when someone left. A great lunch place.
The net gives you 3 salads as a page. It's a lot. Recommended division

Great selection of salads, soups, and sandwiches. The soda bread here was also out favorite on the trip. The coffee (Americano) was fantastic too.
