Afternoon Tea at the Sugar Loaf Lounge

Wonderful experience. we have really brought ourselves into the Christmas spirit with the decorations. will be back.

In the afternoon here is a beautiful tasty egg. the Christmas ambience is beautiful (the snow outside has certainly helped). the personal is very friendly and professional. there are many beautiful tasty ones on the afternoon tea you will certainly not need to eat. it was all beautiful.

We had Festive afternoon tea, a wonderful experience, the lounge and lobby was beautifully decorated and the quality of food outstanding. We made some special requests which were looked after without problem. What's more we had a view of a snowy Sugarloag, bliss. We will be back

Very disappointed with our annual festive afternoon tea today at powerscourt hotel. Unfortunately I’m a coeliac and had requested a gluten free menu on booking, at the telephone confirmation and at arrival at hotel. I was then told to tell the server and the rest of the table were asked if they were normal or also required special menu. Food arrived and I had to request an individual plate of butter, cream etc to avoid cross contamination. One of our table then found a small spider in her sandwiches and the plate was removed and we were told manager would come to talk to us. This did not happen. Paying the bill I was disappointed to see that there had been no reduction for the issue with the spider and when I said all was ok apart from the spider, the server said she was sorry. However, no manager came to our table following the complaint. Very disappointed with our experience today
