The rece... read more We enjoyed our stay at hotel Doolin. Excellent warm welcome. All staff from reception to restaurant staff are very friendly, genuine and accommodating. The reception area, Fitz pub and restaurant are cosy with good craic. We especially loved Eoin Davies set. Amazing talent and made our night. The food is lovely, although as a vegetarian I would have loved to seen more dishes on the menu for vegans and veggies. We unfortunately didn't get to try the Stonewall pizza restaurant as only opened at the weekend. The breakfast was fab. Yummy pancakes and that wheaten bread is out of this world! The room was large and clean with a lovely welcome touch of a card and chocolate (unfortunately the chocolate was a few months out of date though). Some little updates needed, as carpet burnt from previous guests, maybe a rug could cover it? Bedside units need repainted or replaced, some towels raggedy and a stained sheet. Heat in room was also too hot and couldn't be turned down. We did mention this to staff at the time and they did their best to assist, even offering a fan. These are all very minor issues that could be fixed easily. We honestly loved our stay and again the staff were a joy.

The food was excellent and the service was perfect. The rooms were beautiful and showers great. The venue hall is a perfect place for a wedding. Lots of room for the band and dancing. We had steak and salmon on the wedding day venue. We stayed in house 8 and others in the other houses. Nobody had far to go home and all said that they were very impressed with the service food and would return to stay there. Put the doolin hotel on your list when your in the west of Ireland.

Breakfast, which was included, had a very wide selection. Eggs Florentine one of the best we ever had.

From the food, to the venue... read more We had our wedding reception and day two here just a couple of weeks ago. Honestly, could not fault the place from start to finish. From the food, to the venue and amazing staff, we're so thankful for all of the help they gave us to make our day special. Paul in particular was such a good help. Hotel Doolin will always be a special place for us now and we'd highly recommend anyone thinking of choosing it as a venue for their wedding to go for it. Doolin is stunning and so is the hotel 5 stars all day long for everything. Thank you all
