What KAT SLKJLK likes about The Duke Of Edinburgh Hotel:
Had the best time here would HIGHLY recommend the duke cheeseburger it was like heaven on a plate!! We also tried the boozy iced tea by recommendation of the bar staff and it was AMAZING. If you're looking for a place for dinner and drinks, this is the place, the staff, atmosphere and food are 10/10 View all feedback. What Hiram Langworth doesn't like about The Duke Of Edinburgh Hotel:
Great atmosphere apart from the sexist posters. Fantastic in Winter open fire, Chesterfield lounges, mulled wine, great food. I just wish they'd get rid of the pictures of a woman's red lips and bum above the pool tables. Or at least put in a male equivalent to make it less sexist. C'mon guys it's View all feedback.

read moreThe Duke Of Edinburgh Hotel in Newtown is highly praised for its craft beers, friendly staff, and reasonable prices. It is considered a cool pub with great drinks and a lively atmosphere. However, some diners found the food overpriced and lacking in quality. Despite mixed reviews on the food, the venue remains a popular spot for pre-show drinks due to its convenient location near the Enmore Theatre. The Duke offers a variety of craft beers and has a menu with share plates and pub classics. The venue is known for its character and friendly ambiance, making it a great place to unwind after a show. Overall, the Duke Of Edinburgh Hotel is recommended for a casual night out for drinks with friends.

Great pub. Food was good and if you haven’t had a pickleback you haven’t really lived. Most importantly the service was quick and friendly.
