This is a lovely bakery where you can have an all day brekky, a coffee to go with a sweet pastry or just pick up bread and rolls. All delivered by lovely chatty staff. The bread isn't bad either, low yeast, sugar and low GI available. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Le Bake:
the pork roll had a strange soft roll didn't seem that old, but it was a bit like a hot dog bung or school candy roll. combined with an excess of pork over salat and butter over pate, it really seemed like a school...cantile roll instead of banh mi. it's just $5, but allan is on the road makes much better at the same price. the Vietnamese coffee (as they finally remembered to make it) was much better rich and not ver... The sourdough bread at this restaurant is exceptional. It is freshly baked with no sugar, yeast, or additives, and is made from a 25 year old culture, making it a must-try. The classic and delicious bahn mi sandwiches are what make me a repeat customer. Additionally, there is a diverse selection of sweet and savory treats available. The owner, Julie, highly recommends the banana and blueberry scroll.
The customer service at this restaurant is exceptional and the coffee is the best I've ever had. I highly recommend trying it out and chatting with Julie, the owner. She is very friendly and will brighten your day with a good conversation.
The bread and rolls at this restaurant are excellent and offered at very reasonable prices. The owner is fantastic and has a great memory for their customers.
Service was exceptional! I only wanted a loaf of bread, but couldn't decide as I was visiting my daughter we have different preferences. Finally I bought a rye bun, a white loaf paid. Then the owner suggested a bun for my daughter, said it was the best they bake. So how much do I owe you? Nothing he said. I was overwhelmed by the generosity of people who have had it sooo hard during these Covid times...
Excellent coffee! Such crema from the new WEGA machine, hot and full of flavour! Don't ask for sugar, it's not needed. The pastries are BIG and fresh, and reasonably priced. A tip-top breakfast for less than ten dollars, unusual in these inflated times!!
