What Mafalda Fay doesn't like about Alfalfa House Community Food Co-operative:
I was a weekly regular pre 2009. Came here recently and was shocked by the inflated prices. I have written to the committee about their high prices and to explain and justify, it is a food co-op they buy in bulk and they haven't replied. Unfortunately up the road are more organic health food shops that charge much less. They have three different prices which i find discriminatory. Didn't get the HC sticker. View all feedback. I love Alfalfa House. Not only are they super vegan friendly (co-op is all vegetarian) they also have very little packaging and are very eco friendly. They host workshops and classes too, I went to a raw vegan one once. You can volunteer there and get to know your local community as well as receiving a discount for your hours.
