We had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. Although we had made a reservation, the place was packed, which speaks volumes about its popularity. Really good food and not too much on the menu. Shame Its so far out of the way. Lovely beer as well. Only downside was a family letting their boys stamp around. Not the owners fault
I received an amazing recommendation from a dear friend, and we had been wanting to try this place for a while. We were so glad we finally did! The Sunday lunch menu was fantastic, and the main meal was absolutely perfect. I can't say anything negative about this place. The customer service was excellent, and it's family-run, which adds to the homely atmosphere. It was easily the best Sunday dinner we've had in a long time!
An absolute gem of a traditional pub in the heart of Northumberland! The locals are incredibly friendly, and the food is outstanding! Well crafted and delightful! Highly recommended!
