I prefer Nillumbik Cellars as my go-to licensed venue due to its excellent wine cellar offering a variety of wines at competitive prices. The friendly and helpful staff add to the overall positive experience at this establishment. View all feedback.

I have only gotten takeout from this restaurant, but I always feel like the only customer in the shop. The prices are reasonable, and the lady working there always includes a little extra or two. She is very friendly and attentive. It can get busy, but they manage to get the food out quickly without making you wait too long.
Phyllis is a great asset to Diamond Creek Very friendly and always ready with a story or advice Would recommend her place lunch or dinner
Love Ying's even if Phyllis is eccentric and the business is inconsistent in opening hours etc, the food is always delicious and it is excellent value for money. I have only ever had take away noodles and everything thing has always been made to order using fresh ingredients, before my eyes with friendly service. Don't think I would eat in as the place has no atmosphere and is basically is a take away noodle shop but l do see people chomping away, so, each to his own. Great value for money, happy to keep going for take away.
Phyllis the owner of this little restaurant is a very quirky lady. You need to be able to keep up and understand her quick wit and strong crazy personality. I feel in love with her instantly. She's so engaging with everyone who walks in the door. It's more a take away but they have a few tables and a byo permit. It's a basic looking place so don't go expecting 5 star as its not meant to be that type of place. We decided to eat in. So glad we did. We loved our dinner. Meals were tender and really flavoursome. Phyllis made as laugh hysterically while she served us. She threw bags of prawn crackers at all the kids who walked in the door. She loves children. An amazingly hard working woman who is accompanied by a very good chef. There were things promoting the local community in the cafe so I got the impression she's very community minded and supports the local emergency services.Do yourself a favour, try it once. Go and meet this amazing woman, be shocked, laugh, find her confronting but understand it's all coming from a great place. Most of all, enjoy some great food. Her quirkiness is obviously not everyone's cup of tea from some of the reviews but I appreciated it and will be back and next time will take our mates with us for a banquet. Ace night.
