As always, excellent food at very reasonable prices. Pity about the quiz night though, it was spoilt by some customers screaming and shouting so we couldn't hear what the poor question master was saying. This is a recurring situation these days, the death of good manners. If they want to scream and shout, why attend? Overall though the Tavern is a good value for money venue. View all feedback.

We went to the tavern on a busy Saturday night, through fault of our own for not booking we ate in the lounge rather than bistro, which was absolutely fine! The main meals were, in my opinion, a little overpriced however were huge portions! My steak was a little over cooked, however I did not make this known to staff as I was just too hungry to wait! This is a nice venue with friendly staff and good quality food. I would like to see an entrance that doesn't take you past both the pokies and smoking areas...

We have been here a while back and I went particularly for the Bobby Veal which is delicious. Not cheap at 33$ but well cooked, tasty and a good size. 300gms I believe. The ambience is that of a tavern with pokies and if you are ok with that then it's a good place to eat. Staff are very pleasant
We always think it's expensive for a pub meal, but in saying that, it's always good quality & descent size meals.
