The Britannia Inn - Elterwater

We just enjoyed 2 weeks at night in bride. room 3 in front of the pub is great with its enormous bed and the separate bathroom is not a big problem. very dog friendly what was great for us. it is very busy at the meal times, but from good ground and the place is so well run and the staff so friendly and efficient we loved every minute. we are going back to the final. highly recommended.

A lovely old Lakeland pub, with comfortable clean rooms, good beer selection, good wholesome food, friendly and attentive staff and sensible prices. A place for nice people who don't have expectations beyond their budget!

Love the staff, beer, food and location. This has become my go to place on The Lakes.

Bluebird ale, love it! Had a Steak, ale mushroom pie; very nice indeed, though the gravy lacked body (Better gravy at the Talbot Bar! My hubby's ploughman's looked incredible though, know what I'm having next time...
