We were disappointed with our meal though. My Husband and I ordered the Irish stew and there were only 2 small pieces of meat in it, so very poor value for money. On the plus side, the gravy was very tasty

The only... read more My wife and I came in for Dinner at about 1700 on April 12th. The food was good and the service from Christian was good. We will certainly visit again. The only problem we had was that one of the persons sitting behind us, next to the bar, was incredibly loud, almost to the point of shouting. So much so that we could not hear one another speak. The person was either an employee of the pub or a close friend of the employees judging from her interaction with the bar staff. If she was a customer, no problem, if she was a member of the staff please ask her to tone it down. We had intended to stay for another drink but the noise was too great. No reflection on the food or the service.
