I emailed Panshi with this complaint as I don’t like to give poor feedback without a chance to rectify. I got no response. I ordered 4th July at. 18:23. The order was quite slow >1hr) arriving at 19:45 but that’s not really the problem. The order was quite l expensive for 3 people at over £70. But with cash discount reduced to a reasonable £58:40. I paid the driver £60 3*£20) who just walked off. When I asked for change he said he had none. I’d have given the change straight back to him as a tip but I like to decide. really? Sending a driver out from a cash business with no change? Then the first thing I opened was the onion bajii. They were hard like a biscuit and burnt. I bit one and all I could taste was powdered charcoals. I’ll attach a photo for you. See what you think. Normally onion Baji come with a mint dip or mango but this one has nothing. Just dry. The prawn purée were nice but first time I’ve had them without a lemon slice and normally on a fried bubbly bread not a bog standard chapati). No freebies like paupodoms . The main course curry was nice flavour but the lamb in the curry was over cooked and tough and dry. Partner says the chicken was also over done and dry but I didn’t try it. I’m sorry but all in all a very disappointing meal. Not impressed and definitely not the 4.8 star review on Google. 3.8 at best. Service: Delivery Price per person: £20–30 Food: 3 Service: 3
Appalling. Writing this review as we ordered a late evening delivery and are now sat here hungry, as the food was inedible. The lamb rogan was watery and had little flavour in addition to the lamb being so chewy, that it was spat out and left on the side of plates! The worst part though, was the onion bajis. These absolutely did not taste fresh, they were rock hard and dry. They tasted like they had been frozen and microwaved. The food arrived cold as well. So very disappointed as it’s our first time trying Panshi- will certainly not be back. Service: Delivery
Great place. Great food. Good clientele. Easy parking outside, will be hoping back- again.
