What Alan Hill dislikes about The Bell:
Had a booking for mother's day at 6.30pm. They had run out of roast dinners, pie an only had 1 portion of fish and chips left! Also there would be 45 minutes wait for what food they had left. This is a beautiful family pub great for the kids the atmosphere is lovely the food is very good and worth every penny. The staff are very pleasant can’t do enough for you would highly recommend
Went for a pint a couple of days ago. The ladies behind the bar were really nice and welcoming. The history and age of this place is so interesting built in 1460 it has many stories and it is said that Henry VIII frequented here too. We sat outside and enjoyed the openness and the weather. Didn’t try the food but the beer was good!

Had a lovely time at The Bell! Cozy, classic pub with a really welcoming feel. The staff were friendly, the service quick, and the drinks were spot on. Tried a couple of the mains and everything came out hot and tasty. Great spot for a relaxed pint or casual meal will definitely be back! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
