The restaurant, named after Henry VIII, offers a unique dining experience with a menu featuring traditional British dishes and European cuisine. Owner Reza Amini is committed to sustainability, using local ingredients, reclaimed timber for the interior walls, and rainwater for flushing the lavatories. The menus are printed on recycled paper, wines sourced from Surrey vineyards, and all light fittings are energy-saving LEDs. Additionally, the fish served comes from sustainable fisheries in Britain certified by the Marine Stewardship Council.

The restaurant was good overall with friendly staff. There was a small issue with a fork not being cleaned properly, but it was quickly replaced by apologetic staff. The service was rated a 5 out of 5, the atmosphere a 4 out of 5, and the meal was considered to be a good value at £1–10 per person.
We stopped by for a delightful iced coffee at this lovely spot with a nice seating area outside. It's a great place to take a break. The price per person is between £10 and £20. The food, service, and atmosphere all receive a rating of 4 out of 5.
