Esquires Coffee Esher - Elmbridge

I should start by saying that we really like the coffee here.... But the staff are just awful! Rude, indifferent and not particularly pleasant, never mind friendly. On our last four visits, there were hardly any other customers around yet the staff could not be bothered getting our orders right. All they seem to care about is to have a good time chatting or playing their own music. They do not care about the experience of their customers. The other day there were three staff chatting very loudly with their two friends occupying all of the front part of the cafe. There was no music playing to at least mask some of their noise so we ended up drinking our coffees very quickly whilst listening to their pathetic conversation. Awful place I'm afraid.

Wish I never bothered I only asked for scrambled eggs on toast, the young man behind the counter agreed that it was awful, then went on to explain all their food is cooked in the microwave, Awful, awful,

Initially ignored by staff. When finally served incredibly slow service. Dirty cups. Coffee week and tasteless. Shame because the potential is there. An around unsatisfactory experience.

We’ve just had a very pleasant light lunch and cake and it was very enjoyable. Home food and tasty. If you’re in the area then this beats the usual high street eateries anytime. Worth a visit.

Slow service, we waited 20mins for an orange hot chocolate to be told they didn't have any orange syrup left. The normal hot chocolate was quite tasty though just shame about the wait to receive it.
