Was Travellerclass at Carvery Express a mag?
After a hard day working at LGW me and a colleague stopped off here for a very late lunch. As we walked through the door having both spoken about eating from a different outlet this one greeted us straightaway. We had a cursory look at the food on offer and were both so impressed that we could not resist the pulled pork and roast pork and crackling. We both also had the roast potatoes and veg to go with it. What rollercolin dislikes about Carvery Express:
we ordered 2 beef baps believing them to be £4.95 each. As they were presented they demanded £2 more, when I protested as the price shown on the big board behind them was £4.95 they pointed out in very small sign (and badly coloured) that it was £1 extra for beef. I believe this was very misleading and as such should be investigated by Trading Standards. This was such as shame as the food was good and if the display... View all feedback.

The beef in our roll was like shoe leather, won't go here again. Luckily lots of other places to get much better food at this service station.

The whole of my BBQ Meal of Pulled Pork in a roll with Roast Pots and veg with a can of drink thrown in was £6:25. Worth every penny and tasted wonderful. We sat outside and devoured the meals in no time at all. Really good value and cooked to perfection. Would I stop there again for a nibble.....damn straight I would. Thank you the food was excellent.

Meets expectations every time. Good quality cuts of turkey, pork, etc. . Straight from the joint and more besides on offer. Fresh, hot, tasty and juicy. Generous portions and extras always offered, very tasty saute potatoes, sauces, etc. Buns toasted, drinks available and all for a very reasonable price. Great for lunch, brunch, even enough for a main meal.

This service station restaurant was a pleasant surprise. They serve high-quality roasted meats. I tried the Pork Roast and it had delicious crackling, as you can see in the photo I took. The meats are slow-roasted for over 6 hours, which explains why mine was so flavorful. I definitely plan on returning. Thank you!
