Authentic Mexican food. Not American tex-mex, so don't go looking for that here. I lived in LA for 8 years and this food reminds a lot of places I used to frequent there. I had asada burrito but looking forward to trying their mole dishes. View all feedback.
What Janelle F doesn't like about Luna's Mexican Cafe:
We saw all the amazing reviews and decided to try this place. I am not a foodie by any stretch of the imagination, but this food was honestly nothing to write home about. Maybe we had bad luck and went on a day they all had hangovers, but service is everything!

Complete hole in the wall in the best way possible! Water served in repurposed tequila bottles, since it's BYOB. I am so glad we saw a previous review that mentioned they serve virgin margaritas and you can bring your own tequila. DO. IT. BYO tequila and order their virgin margaritas. Your life will be changed. So fresh and so tasty, and you can add how much or how little tequila you want. A dream come true! This was perfect for Father's Day dinner for my family, since our dad loves authentic Mexican food. If you want something legit, look no further. Everything we ordered was delicious. Even the churros were amazing! Service was mentioned in many reviews but we didn't really have an issue, nothing seemed to take too long. Hope to go back another time, maybe when I don't have to drive home!
La cita is solid. The one time I have been resulted in consistent food for a great price. It's not big so recommend parties of 4 or smaller, but is definitely authentic and tasty.
Food was yummy! the ambience decor of the place was cute cozy. they currently have valentine's day decorations up! we ordered the la cita sampler, el pastor tacos, birria tacos, tres leches and flan. everything had great flavor! service was friendly as well. would absolutely dine here again.
