I was really looking forward to when this place opened to order dinner to take home so I won't have to cook after work. I work Monday through Friday till 5:00 p.m. and I'm not home sometimes close till 6:00 p.m. we've tried to order when I've gotten home on the earlier side and every time they are closed early and done for the day. We had Backroads BBQ cater our Employee Appreciation Day at Fortis Solutions Group, they were amazing! The food was delicious and they were super easy to work with.
Wow, what a find! On our way home from the Stafford Halloween fest this weekend and stopped in for dinner. Quiet place, and almost hidden if it wasn't for Google maps. The staff was so nice and friendly! They were so quick and efficient. The food is priced very reasonably and the portions are a good size. I even liked seeing them weigh out the meat so you know you will get the same hearty portions each time. The cornbread was butter and delicious. The meats were melt in your mouth. There are two sauces to pick sweet and heat. Both delicious, I'm more of a sweet but the heat was a good flavor not just hot to be hot. The kids loved all the decorations and ate a good amount. A win for us! No kids meals but a side of Mac and cheese with our meals worked out great and we even had some leftovers. When I'm in for mood for BBQ, I'm definitely coming back here. Stop in if you're looking for a quick crowd pleaser dinner.
A few months ago, a friend introduced me to this restaurant. I stopped by one morning to try it out but ended up taking my order home. It wasn't quite as good as I had anticipated, and since I live about 15 minutes away, I didn't feel compelled to return. However, this morning my wife and I decided to dine in, and I have to say, it's now among my top three favorite breakfast spots, if not the absolute best! Everything tasted fantastic! I believe the two people working there might be the owners, and they were incredibly friendly, offering excellent service. If you're within a reasonable distance, I highly recommend eating there—you won't regret it!
This is a fantastic place in Ellington. The breakfast sandwiches are amazing. Be sure to try the brisket melt!
