Mexicali Mexican Grill - South Windsor

This place is fantastic, very fresh food with a great relaxed atmosphere. You have a group, but the South Windsor location is hard to get, but it is worth it without the group. Appropriate prices, with great food and service, will win every time. I'm back... I think the idiots who write the bad reviews you see like Taco bell....mh. a polishing Mexican?

Have eaten there for the first time last night and I thought it was fantastic! I had bad experiences in other Mexican restaurants when ordering vegetarian selections, but their Burrito Verde was fantastic, and the Presidente margarita was just as good as the one you get in Chilis. The waiter was attentive and friendly, like the rest of the staff. I'm definitely back!

I tried this place for the first time today with my hubby, who is not a big fan of mexican food. Well, he was impressed. The food was good, and the service was great. We will be back in the future!

I try all the Mexican food I can, I'm chef and have a fairly high standard when I spend money to eat. I was prolly in 30 Mexican restaurants in CT, and while I was only once, it left the best impression to far and I will definitely return. When I saw the building first, I thought it was boring, chain restaurant type food. Couldn't have been wrong. The food was great, the whole mood of the place was pleasant. And I wish I got his name, but the server we had was the best server I've ever seen in every restaurant. This guy was a machine, and very nice about it. Whatever he is paid, it's not enough Cuz that he represents this business and could ask everyone. Definitely recommend this place when you live in CT.
