Excellent service, delicious food, great menu, beautiful place!

We think we are so lucky to have a excellent restaurant like this in such a remote area. The food truly is excellent overall. If I could give a half star extra I would. The staff is delightful, friendly and informative. My only 2 comments would be the timing of the food arrival. Our appetizer platter (excellent) was delivered at the same time as my soup, which I ordered in place of the dinner salad my husband's salad came at the same time, the other couple's dinner salad came later. It made for a very congested table. We split an entree, which they brought to the table with an small salad plate. The only other complaint I have, and this is a biggie fir all restaurants no itemized bill, only a total!! We HATE that. Not because I fear I've been overcharged but we have no idea what the corkage was on the wine, did they charge for a split plate (we have no problem with that), and was there a tip added in that we did not see on the menu (also have no problem with that). Overall, this shod be 4 1/2 stars perhaps we're knitpicking but this is a new restaurant should get a honest critique. We will definitely be back! It's an absolute jewel for our area!

Beautiful little restaurant. Very nice and clean. Service was excellent, and the food was great. The menu is limited and depends on the day of the week what they are serving. But I rolled into the town of Elk on a very cold and winter night and it was the only place open for me to eat. What a nice surprise I was in for. Thank you for feeding me.

My only minor issue was that our server forgot to bring an ice cup for our Husch Rosé, leaving it in the sun for a while. However, the service overall was excellent, and I chalk it up to the learning curve since the restaurant is newly opened. I do hope they eventually add a robust red wine to their list, though they do feature a good selection of local wines, which I truly appreciate! After our meal, we took a walk around the venue and concluded that it's the perfect spot for a wedding in the sky! We’re definitely planning to return!
