What Mohamed Hegmann doesn't like about Nung Len formerly Opium Den:
she ordered the wut and was so disappointed. pad thai tastes really bad with not enough aromen. baked rice tastes ok, but still missing this Tom-Yum aroma. the suppe is like 17$ hahaha and it came with 3 cloves. bad experience! View all feedback.
The food is excellent, with large portions at very reasonable pricesService is excellent and the decor is very ethnic and artistic.
Amazing Thai food with BYO wine. We dined as a large group and found the banquet options worked perfectly. For only $42 per person we had dumplings, san choy bau, satay, spring rolls, calamari, curry, noodles, stir fry, fish and rice. Every dish was delicious and there was plenty of food. The restaurant is equally good for couples as the lighting and decor make me a romantic mood. Will definitely visit again!

Been here heaps of times they are now licensed corkage $4 pp very good value. Menu hasn't changed much either had my favourite curry prawn rolls for entree and had some roti for a change. They have got rid of those awful chairs service good language barrier I didn't have any trouble there either. Was very busy with pick ups like uber eats etc which means less bums on seats but more meals through the kitchen.
We have been eating here for many years under several different owners - the current owners are not receiving the local praise of their predecessors - some new staff and some language difficulties - which are not a real problem - however there is a tendency for staff to stay up near the kitchen and not be moving around seeing if customers require attention - this really does need rectifying. We remain reasonably happy with the food and prices - more competitive than nearby Thai - there are specials and special requests attended to, e.g. I ask for an omelette from time to time - not on the menu and not a problem in receiving it - lovely and light too :-) Still worth visiting.
