We decided to try the Eldon Drive-In this time instead of the Cree Mee even though we're devout Cree Mee fans. Everything was so good the shrimp basket, the onion rings, the bacon cheeseburger, and the chili dog. I guess we'll have to be fans of both now. View all feedback.

The wait times were lengthy, and the staff were just okay. The food was also lackluster. If you're driving, I wouldn’t recommend ordering fries with cheese or chili, as they won't provide a sealed container. You'd be better off going to Cree-mee instead. View all feedback.
Stopped in today for a quick lunch after a long day on the lake yesterday. I ordered a footlong chili-cheese dog, onion rings, mozzarella sticks, and chili cheese fries. No, all this food wasn't for me, but it sounded good to soothe yesterdays drinking pains. The chili dog was good, but slightly on the thin side. The other menu items were typical of small drive in fried food. It's really hard to mess up fried food. The restaurant was clean and the girls at the counter were helpful and seemed happy to be there. Our food came out in less than 5 minutes and everything was hot and fresh. Good little place to stop by if your hungry and want to grab a quick bite to eat.
Solid local diner with walk up and eat in area with a drive thru. Many varieties of burgers, hot dogs, and a long list of sides. Burgers were a-ok. Root beer floats for the win!

I always try to support local businesses, but I was a bit disappointed with my experience here. It was around 2 PM on a Saturday, and I waited about 30 minutes for my food. The young staff behind the counter were friendly, but I noticed that another customer before me kept getting overlooked. When she politely inquired about her order, they apologized and said they were busy with multiple orders. I ordered a burger, which was slightly pink inside and not very tasty. My husband had a hot dog, which he likened to a gas station hot dog. It seems that some training in work ethic could really benefit this place and the young staff working there.
