The open doors of this hotel were the most welcome sight on a wet and windy Sunday afternoon for a group of cyclists doing the Hebridean Way. Place was already busy and we had no booking but they squeezed us in and served up a delicious meal. As we were cold and wet, and camping gear damp from night before, of us booked rooms with the others allowed to camp in the grounds. Staff and owner couldn't have been any more... View all feedback.

we had two nights here, and it's a pretty dated hotel in a beautiful environment. ideal for hiking and cycling in the environment. eating is very common, but the place is spacious and the personal pleasing. View all feedback.
We were delighted to discover this restaurant while touring the island. We ordered a toastie and chips with a refreshing drink that hit the spot. The staff was friendly, the service was prompt, and the atmosphere was lovely. There are also outdoor seating options that are perfect on a sunny day.

In our week in carloway a few times a drink. we always got a nice warm welcome with good mood. at an opportunity we have decided to eat too midday and although we arrived quite late, they were very happy to rustle...up some beautiful cheesetoasties and fantastic chips.
We stopped for lunch on a drive around the island. All food was home made but unfortunately the menu was quite restricted and didn’t offer great value. 10.50 for a small quiche with chips felt a bit excessive. Highlight were the staff who were very...friendly.
We had never had cullen skink before. My daughter and I had ordered a bowl to share, but when it arrived we immediately ordered a second bowl. Six months later I still regard this soup as a highlight of our trip.
