I had an excellent experience at this charming hotel! The staff were attentive and efficient, and the food was delicious and locally sourced. I will definitely come back!
The food was fantastic, with the burgers being exceptional, made from cattle raised by the hotel itself. The fish was fresh, and everything else was just as delightful. The portions were generous, and the staff were fabulous and attentive, even though the place was quite busy. It’s a lovely little hotel, truly a gem in Carloway, and I would recommend it to anyone. By the way, the Bailey’s cheesecake was absolutely divine!
We went to Doune Braes for dinner with the family this evening, and unfortunately, all five meals were bland and lacked flavor. To make matters worse, one of the dishes had a dead fly in it. The waitress did apologize, but we were still charged for the meal. We definitely won’t be returning.
